Pusha T Becomes Latest House Ambassador for Louis Vuitton

Pusha T Becomes Latest House Ambassador for Louis Vuitton

Pusha T has been named the newest House Ambassador of Louis Vuitton, the French luxury fashion house announced on Monday, July 8. This exciting news comes just a month after Pusha T, whose real name is Terrence LeVarr Thornton, attended Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Spring-Summer 2025 Show in Paris. During this event, Pharrell Williams, the brand’s Men’s Creative Director and Pusha’s longtime friend and musical collaborator, unveiled his latest collection. The show also featured a new Clipse song, with a guest appearance by John Legend.

Louis Vuitton expressed their enthusiasm for this new partnership in a press release, stating, “His ambassadorial nomination at Louis Vuitton is a testament to his commitment to artistry and a strong personal style, both echoing the Maison’s own dedication to unique expression across fashion and culture.” The statement further emphasized that Pusha T’s role as House Ambassador underscores Louis Vuitton’s vision of integrating diverse cultural influences to create powerful storytelling within its storied menswear universe. The Maison looks forward to this exciting collaborative journey ahead.

Pusha T’s involvement with Louis Vuitton is not entirely new. He and his brother No Malice walked during Pharrell’s debut Men’s Spring-Summer 2024 Show in Paris last year, where they debuted another new song. This track was rumored to be a diss aimed at Jim Jones, who had questioned Pusha’s ranking on Billboard’s 50 Greatest Rappers of All Time list, where Pusha holds the 29th spot.

Other musicians who have been named House Ambassadors for Louis Vuitton include Felix from Stray Kids, J-Hope from BTS, and BamBam and Jackson Wang from GOT7. This illustrious list highlights the brand’s commitment to blending high fashion with contemporary music and culture.

Pusha T and Pharrell Williams have a long history of collaboration, and this new venture into high fashion is a natural progression for both artists. Louis Vuitton is thrilled about the partnership, stating, “Their shared history promises dynamic future avenues of expression and further affirms the Maison’s ambassadorial circle to be those forging today’s contemporary landscape across industries and fields.”

This new role for Pusha T highlights his dedication to both artistry and personal style, aligning perfectly with Louis Vuitton’s focus on unique fashion and cultural expression. The brand added, “Pusha T’s role as House Ambassador underscores Louis Vuitton’s vision of bringing together diverse cultural influences to build powerful storytelling within its storied menswear universe. The Maison looks forward to this exciting collaborative journey ahead.”

Expect this collaboration to bring a unique blend of hip-hop flair and luxury fashion, marking another creative chapter for Pusha T and Pharrell. The move is a natural one, as Pusha has indeed been a fixture in Louis Vuitton’s current era. In June of last year, new Clipse music debuted as part of Pharrell’s inaugural show with the luxury fashion house. More recently, the six-time Grammy nominee showed support for his friend’s continued vision by attending the label’s Men’s Spring-Summer 2025 show in Paris.

Pusha T being named a House Ambassador follows 2024 ambassadorship announcements for Saoirse Ronan, BamBam, Victor Wembanyama, and Timothée Adolphe. Among the non-Louis Vuitton projects next on the horizon for Pusha T and Pharrell is a new album from Clipse. Last month, Pusha revealed to Vulture that Pharrell was “producing everything” on the album, which hasn’t yet received an official title or release date.

Pusha T has some experience with the Louis Vuitton brand. He walked the runway at the Spring-Summer Men’s 2025 fashion show in Paris, joined by his brother and fellow Clipse rapper, No Malice. The duo even premiered a song at the event, “Birds Don’t Sing.” While the intermingling of fashion and rap may seem unique, given Pusha’s main occupation, the rapper has made it clear that he sees the two as one and the same. He told Vogue that fashion informs the hip-hop experience, just as hip-hop culture informs the latest fashion trends.

“I’ve never looked at hip hop as just rapping,” Pusha T explained. “It’s also about knowing what the fresh kicks were [and are], coming outside with the fresh fits. It always kept everyone very competitive, and I always looked at this as part of hip hop’s entirety. I’ve never separated fashion from the music.” Pusha’s mission statement is evident in his first Louis Vuitton ad campaign. The rapper is photographed wearing various Louis Vuitton items, including chains and a tracksuit. It will be exciting to see what Pusha T and Pharrell come up with next.
