Raquel Leviss has recently opened up about her feelings regarding her past relationship with Tom Sandoval, and she’s made it clear that she’s content with how things turned out. Leviss, who left “Vanderpump Rules” after Season 10, shared her thoughts on the matter, stating, “No, I do not wish things had gone better with Sandoval. The part that I wish had worked out are things that I would want different in him, and I have to accept the fact that I cannot change anybody and nobody is going to change for me. So, Tom as the package that he is, I am happy that it did not work out between us.”
Leviss and Sandoval’s relationship was a significant storyline on the show, especially after it was revealed that they had an affair while Sandoval was still romantically involved with Ariana Madix. This scandal rocked the reality TV world and led to intense scrutiny and drama among the cast members. Despite the tumultuous nature of their relationship, Leviss seems to have found peace with the outcome.
In addition to her reflections on Sandoval, Leviss also addressed her past engagement to James Kennedy. She expressed no regrets about ending their engagement, saying, “No, I don’t regret breaking off my engagement. I knew that James was not the right person for me because I wouldn’t treat other people the way that he treated other people, and I would be embarrassed and become very, very small and want to disappear when he treated people very disrespectfully.”
While Leviss doesn’t wish things were different with her relationships, she did mention that she would be open to speaking with former cast member Lala Kent again. “I would be open to talking to Lala,” Leviss confessed. “I don’t think that there’s a world where there’s any sort of genuine friendship, but I think there’s a world where we can be cordial to each other. And not send the dogs on each other anymore.”
However, Leviss also noted that she doesn’t see a world where there is a genuine friendship with Kent because she feels that trust has been broken on both ends. “I feel like the love that I received from the cast members was conditional,” she added.
Leviss’s affair with Sandoval was one of the biggest scandals in reality television, especially since Sandoval was in a long-term relationship with Madix at the time. The affair came to light during the Season 10 reunion, which Leviss attended before ultimately leaving the show. Sandoval and Madix have continued their involvement in the show, although it is currently on hiatus as production figures out how to move forward.
Reflecting on the reunion, Leviss admitted that she was “super embarrassed” and “not proud” of herself. She acknowledged that she owed a lot of people apologies and expressed regret over her actions. The reunion was a dramatic event, with intense confrontations and emotional moments, particularly between Leviss, Sandoval, and Madix.
During the reunion, Madix expressed her anger and hurt towards Leviss, calling her actions “subhuman” and wishing “nothing but the worst things that could ever happen to a person” on her. Leviss, in turn, tried to explain her perspective, stating that she just wanted Sandoval to be happy and had encouraged him to reflect on his relationship with Madix.
The reunion also saw other cast members, such as Lala Kent and James Kennedy, weighing in on the situation. Kent, who had her own history of drama with Leviss, was particularly vocal, calling Leviss a “bitch” and a “ho.” Kennedy, who had previously been engaged to Leviss, also had his moments of confrontation, particularly with Sandoval.
Despite the intense drama, Leviss seems to have found a sense of closure and acceptance regarding her past relationships. She has acknowledged her mistakes and appears to be moving forward with a clearer understanding of what she wants and needs in a partner.
As for the future of “Vanderpump Rules,” it remains uncertain. The show is currently on hiatus, and it’s unclear how production will proceed given the recent scandals and departures. However, Leviss’s reflections on her past relationships and her willingness to move forward suggest that she is ready to leave the drama behind and focus on her own growth and happiness.
