RHONY alum Carole Radziwill responds to nasty Andy Cohen

Andy Cohen won’t have the final say if Carole Radziwill has anything to do with it. The former “Real Housewives of New York City” star took to X on Tuesday to respond to Cohen’s claim that she was the anonymous “RHONY” alum who criticized him in a recent New York Magazine profile.

“Someone can make a truthful observation & there’s always one short-ish dude waiting to be offended,” she tweeted, taking a direct jab at Cohen. Radziwill didn’t stop there, adding, “They’re all so vindictive which I believe is the point of the quote & confirmed by Andy’s nasty response.🙈.”

In a series of follow-up tweets, Radziwill labeled Cohen as “condescending” and “absurd,” and suggested he should apologize for calling her out. Her tweets were a direct response to Cohen’s comments on his SiriusXM radio show, “Radio Andy,” where he confidently identified her as the anonymous source in the New York Magazine article.

“It’s Carole Radziwill, no question,” Cohen told his co-host, John Hill. “It’s the one mean quote in there, and it’s the only anonymous quote. There are 18 reasons why it’s Carole.”

Cohen expressed his confusion over why Radziwill would choose to remain anonymous, especially given her history of publicly shading him. “Carole has said a lot of unkind things about me that she has tweeted and been quoted about. So, I was like, why are you going off the record here? It was so weird to me. I didn’t understand,” he said.

The anonymous “RHONY” alum in the article criticized the show’s evolution, stating, “The show went from silly humor about middle-aged women getting drunk and being delusional about their status and having funny, petty arguments, to Housewives investigating and doing opposition research and making up false storylines and leaking stories on each other.”

The unnamed source also took a swipe at Cohen’s baby shower, calling it a “cringe moment” when Lisa Rinna encouraged people to “dance for Andy and his baby.”

Cohen and Radziwill were once close when she joined “RHONY” in 2011, but their relationship seemed to deteriorate over time. The tension between them became evident during the season 10 reunion in 2018, when Radziwill accused Cohen of siding with Bethenny Frankel during their feud.

Radziwill announced her departure from the show in July 2018 after six seasons, and it appears that her exit also marked the end of her friendship with Cohen. The two have had a complicated history, with Radziwill often feeling that Cohen was biased towards Frankel.

In a 2019 interview on SiriusXM’s “The Jenny McCarthy Show,” Radziwill said, “It was very clear to me — and then later on, I think, the audience — that he was supporting Bethenny in this way that I’ve never seen him at any other reunion do that.”

Cohen, on the other hand, has expressed his disappointment with how Radziwill announced her exit from “RHONY.” In Dave Quinn’s book “Not All Diamonds and Rosé: The Inside Story of the Real Housewives from the People Who Lived It,” Cohen said, “Carole’s post basically implied that she was leaving a really toxic situation. It really rubbed me the wrong way because I really felt like I had changed her life.”

Radziwill responded to Cohen’s remarks via X, stating, “Just another man telling a woman she ought to be more grateful. Housewives changed Andy Cohen’s life, not mine. And Bravo built a 100 million dollar franchise on the backs of women. Let’s not get it twisted.”

The recent New York Magazine profile has reignited the feud between Cohen and Radziwill, with Cohen firmly believing that Radziwill was the anonymous source. Radziwill, however, seems unbothered by the accusation and continues to stand by her comments.

“Someone can make a truthful observation & there’s always one short-ish dude waiting to be offended,” she tweeted, adding, “At this point why would any normal person use their name? They’re all so vindictive which I believe is the point of the quote & confirmed by Andy’s nasty response.”

The ongoing tension between Cohen and Radziwill highlights the complexities of their relationship and the drama that often surrounds the world of reality TV. As both continue to navigate their public personas, it remains to be seen if they will ever reconcile or if their feud will continue to play out in the public eye.
