Seeking Public Help to Find Missing Latino Soldier in California

The Fort Irwin National Training Center in California is seeking public assistance to locate a missing Latino soldier who failed to report to work last week. Alejandro Espinola, a member of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, was reported missing on Thursday, July 18.

The 26-year-old was last seen in the Monrovia Canyon area, which is close to the temporarily closed Angeles National Forest. The training center has reached out to the community, asking anyone with information that might help in finding the soldier to come forward.

Espinola, who was born in California, is believed to be driving a 2018 Hyundai. Kevin T. Black, the commander of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, emphasized in a statement that “the health and safety of our soldier is our primary concern.”

The investigation into Espinola’s disappearance is ongoing, with cooperation from the San Bernardino police department to aid in the search. San Bernardino is a neighboring county located to the east of Los Angeles.

If you have any information regarding Alejandro Espinola’s whereabouts, please contact local authorities.
