**Swifties Believe Taylor Swift’s Middle Name Inspired Travis Kelce’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’ Moment**
It’s a love story, baby, just say… congratulations. Cameras caught Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romantic on-field moment after the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens 17-10 in the AFC Championship game Sunday. The NFL star greeted the “Blank Space” songstress on the field post-game with a passionate embrace and romantic kisses as he said, “How about that one, huh?!”
The pair then shared another hug as Kelce lovingly said, “What’s up, sweetie?” “I’ve never seen you like that,” Swift responded before pointing out where she was watching from in the stadium. “That was insane. I can’t believe it,” she added. “I love you.”
Swift was seen giddily smiling alongside her beau’s parents, Donna and Ed, who also congratulated their son on reaching Super Bowl 2024. The “Cruel Summer” singer — who rocked her “Reputation”-era curls, a cherry-red Guest in Residence sweater, and Chiefs-inspired jewelry — watched the football action alongside Brittany Mahomes, Keleigh Sperry, and Cara Delevingne from a VIP suite at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.
At one point during the game, the “Lavender Haze” songstress, 34, was seen swooning over Travis’ dominant performance on the field, which included 11 catches for 116 yards. She was also caught screaming and enthusiastically cheering when the tight end, also 34, scored the first touchdown of the game.
Since going public with their relationship in September 2023, the 12-time Grammy winner has been a regular presence at her boyfriend’s games this season. In December 2023, she hit back at criticism over being featured heavily during the televised NFL broadcasts. “I’m just there to support Travis,” she told Time magazine. “I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”
Swift added, “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care. … We’re just proud of each other.”
Travis Kelce gave his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, a cheeky nod in the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2024 Super Bowl introduction video that aired before the team took the field at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nev., on Sunday night. During the montage of clips, the tight end asked viewers, “Are you ready for it?” — quoting the pop superstar’s 2017 song “…Ready for It?” Kelce immediately winked after, showing he knew exactly what he was doing.
Fans were elated that the NFL star, 34, thought to include Swift, also 34, in the video and swiftly took to social media to gush over the not-so-subtle moment. “Yes boo coming through with the Taylor reference,” one excited Swiftie wrote on X. “I literally screamed when he said it,” another shared. “Oh he’s an icon, WE STAN,” a third enthused viewer added.
Notably, the song Kelce quoted is from Swift’s album “Reputation,” which fans are convinced she will be re-releasing soon. Swift has given Kelce a shout-out of her own during one of her November 2023 Eras Tour dates by changing the lyrics to her song “Karma.” During her Buenos Aires, Argentina, show, she boldly switched the lyrics from “Karma is the guy on the screen, coming straight home to me” to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me.”
The “Anti-Hero” hitmaker was in attendance at Super Bowl LVIII to support her beau, arriving at the stadium with her mom, Andrea Swift, and pals Blake Lively and Ice Spice. The Super Bowl marked Swift’s lucky number 13th time watching Kelce play, which Swifties hope will give the Chiefs extra luck as they face the San Francisco 49ers. The Chiefs and 49ers last battled it out at the Super Bowl in 2020 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla., when the Kansas City team came out victorious.
Swift’s arrival in Sin City came approximately 24 hours after she touched down in Los Angeles following four back-to-back Eras Tour shows in Tokyo. Just call it a ringing endorsement. Taylor Swift showed up to support boyfriend Travis Kelce at his playoff game in Baltimore Sunday, and accessorized for the occasion with jewelry that paid twinkling tribute to her “guy on the Chiefs.”
Among the many meaningful baubles? A petite EB & Co. ring ($14) inspired by the tight end’s football jersey — and almost certainly gifted to Swift by Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce. “That’s our theory,” EB & Co. founder and creative director Emily Bordner tells Page Six Style with a laugh, adding that the Kelce matriarch has been a fan of her small Kansas City business for months.
“Pretty early in the season, we had one of our wholesalers tell us that Donna came into their store and tried to buy a pair of our earrings, but they were sold out,” Bordner recalls. So she and her team began gifting the mom of two a steady stream of styles, many of which Donna went on to wear to various Chiefs games. “We know that she loves supporting her boys any way she can, so we ended up sending her any new Kelce stuff we developed,” the designer adds. “We sent her [around] three rings, just a cluster of pieces that were Kelce-themed … and we were hoping she would share them.”
She got her wish. On Sunday, Bordner was watching the playoff game along with much of the rest of America, but didn’t realize Swift was sporting one of her designs until her phone began blowing up. “All of our customers and followers were tagging us and sending us articles and pictures, and it just exploded,” she said.
And there’s a detail many viewers at home might’ve missed: The pop queen and the NFL pro’s mom were actually matching on game day. “Donna was wearing the [jersey-inspired] earrings, which just feels really special … it’s just a really sweet moment between the two of them. They’re both wearing something to support Kelce,” Bordner noted. “And like, if I wanted to win over the mom of someone I was dating, I would wear what they gifted me!”
While Swift’s clearly won Donna’s stamp of approval, Bordner says she feels “so lucky” to have earned the singer’s. “Within the first 12 hours, we had over 500 orders. And I think now, we’re over 1,500 orders,” she tells us, adding that while the “majority” of those orders include Swift’s ring — which is currently available for preorder, with an estimated ship date of early March — customers are buying “anything and everything.”
“It’s just total chaos in the best way. We’re so happy that she’s supporting all these local businesses; it’s made such a big difference,” Bordner says. “The ‘Taylor Effect’ is so crazy,” Bordner tells us. “She was touring this past summer and [when she stopped in Kansas City,] it was our busiest week of the entire year outside of the holidays.”
And while she waits to see if Swift might wear more of her work come Super Bowl Sunday, Bordner says we might soon spy her jewelry on yet another member of the Kelce family. “Jason Kelce’s rep actually asked me to make a Jason jersey(-inspired) version of the earrings for Philadelphia, and I was like, ‘Absolutely, girl, I’ll do whatever they want!’”
Swifties are convinced that Taylor Swift made a quick FaceTime call to boyfriend Travis Kelce during a commercial break at the 2024 Golden Globes last weekend. A camera caught the “Cruel Summer” singer, 34, talking into her phone and panning around the room while sitting next to BFF Keleigh Sperry, who accompanied her to the event. While Swift could have just been taking a video to capture the moment, some fans believe she was talking to the Kansas City Chiefs star, who had to miss the event due to a football game earlier in the day.
“She looks like she was FaceTiming Travis,” one person wrote on Twitter. “You can read her lips.” “I think she was on the phone with Travis,” another person wrote under a clip on TikTok. However, another one added that it could have been her “parents, Travis, mother, bestie [it] could be anyone.”
After coming to the conclusion that Swift was talking to Kelce, several fans then tried to figure out what exactly she was saying. While some people thought she said “wish you were here” to the person on the other end, others believe she took a slight dig at host Jo Koy, who made a controversial joke about the singer’s romance with the NFL star.
Kelce couldn’t attend the event due to his football schedule. “Looks like she said ‘don’t know what happened’ then when she looks at her phone looks like she says ‘wish you were here’ so guess she sent that to Travis,” one fan theorized. “I think she pointed the camera to whatever his name is and said ‘piece of s—t’ cause after Keleigh started laughing,” a second suggested. “Looks like she said what a POS 🤷♀️,” another agreed. “[She said] ‘I don’t know what happened I want to go home,’” a fourth person chimed in.
Although it’s unclear what was said, Swift — who stunned in a green sequin gown — did end up leaving the awards show early after the award for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement went to “Barbie.” Despite also being nominated in the category, Swift was the first one up on her feet to give the cast a standing ovation as they accepted the award. However, once the show went to commercial, the pop star seemingly made a swift — pun intended — exit.
Following the quick trip to Los Angeles, the “Anti-Hero” singer jetted back home to New York City, where she continued her green streak. Swift rocked a different shade of green each time she left her luxe Tribeca compound this week, sporting several head-turning outfits such as a crushed velvet minidress with snake-print boots. While the singer may just be in her “green era,” many Swifties are convinced that the color-coordinated looks are Easter eggs for “Reputation (Taylor’s Version).”
The 12-time Grammy winner used lots of snake imagery in the “Look What You Made Me Do” music video and during her “Reputation” tour, which is why fans believe she is dropping hints for its rerelease. She chose to reclaim the reptilian as her own after being labeled a “snake” amid her 2016 feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, who both partially inspired her sixth studio album. “Reputation,” which was originally released in 2017, is Swift’s second-to-last rerecording aside from her debut album, “Taylor Swift.”
