Taylor Swift is representing Ireland with pride!
The singer, 34, wore an outfit featuring the colors of the country’s flag during the first stop of her Eras Tour at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Friday, June 28.
Swift sported a bejeweled orange cropped top and a similarly shimmery ombre green skirt while performing the 1989 portion of her set.
She sang various tunes from her fan-favorite LP during the segment, including “Blank Space,” “Shake It Off,” and “Bad Blood.”
Earlier during the concert event, while performing the track “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” off of her Red album, Swift’s backup dancer Kameron Saunders gave a playful nod to the country hosting them when he screamed “póg mo thóin,” which translates in English from Irish to “kiss my ass,” during one part of the song.
The dancer is known for saying the original lyric, “like, ever,” in the native language of where the performance is taking place. Recently, he has changed up his shoutouts, however, including during Swift’s recent string of shows in Liverpool, England.
Swift also delighted fans during her first night in Dublin when she performed two new mashups as part of the surprise songs portion of her tour.
The singer first performed a mashup of Red’s “State of Grace” and Midnights’ “You’re On Your Own Kid.” She then took part in a medley that combined Midnights’ “Sweet Nothing” and Folklore’s “Hoax.”
Toward the end of her show, Swift also paid tribute to boyfriend Travis Kelce when she did his signature archer pose.
According to fan-captured footage shared on X, formerly Twitter, Swift made the football tight end’s iconic gesture while performing “Midnight Rain” off her Midnights album.
As Swift sang, “And he never thinks of me, except when I’m on TV,” she playfully smiled as she did the pose. She has previously made the move while performing The Tortured Poet Department’s “So High School,” a track filled with various lyrics and references that fans have theorized is about her romance with Kelce, 34.
Swift’s Eras Tour stops in Dublin continue on Saturday, June 29, and Sunday, June 30.

On Friday (June 28), the 34-year-old pop superstar rocked a sparkly outfit with the country’s flag colors during the opening concert of her Eras Tour stop at the city’s Aviva Stadium.
While delivering the 1989 segment of her set, Swift rocked a shimmery jewel-encrusted orange crop top with a matching green skirt. The section featured popular songs from the 2014 album, including Billboard Hot 100 hits “Blank Space,” “Shake It Off” and “Bad Blood.”
Friday’s concert also found the “Anti-Hero” singer performing two fresh mashups during the surprise songs portion of the set.
For her first surprise track of the evening, Swift performed a mashup of “State of Grace,” from her 2012 Red album, and “You’re On Your Own, Kid,” from Midnights in 2022. This marked the first time the songstress has played “You’re On Your Own, Kid” on the acoustic guitar.
For her second surprise song, Swift delivered a medley of Midnights‘ “Sweet Nothing” and “Hoax” off Folklore. The latter was her first performance of the 2020 track on the Eras Tour.
Elsewhere during the show, Swift also paid tribute to her boyfriend Travis Kelce by reenacting the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s signature archer pose while performing “Midnight Rain,” from her 2022 Midnights album.
Ahead of her three-night stint in Ireland, Swift got some love from the country’s most famous rockers. On Friday, she shared on her Instagram Stories a photo of the flowers and a sweet note that she received from iconic rock band U2.
Alongside a bouquet of white, pink and purple roses and lilies was a card that read, “Dear Taylor, welcome back to our hometown…leave some of it standing?!!!!” The note was signed, “Your Irish fan club, Bono, Edge, Adam and Larry.”
On her Instagram Stories, Swift responded by captioning her post with “Already feeling that Irish hospitality!! @u2, thanks for always being the classiest & coolest.” Swift also included an Irish flag emoji.
The superstar singer’s Eras Tour is set for three shows at Aviva Stadium from June 28-30. Paramore is the special guest for all three concerts.
Taylor Swift has sent fans wild after she debuted two new looks sporting Irish colours for her first of three Dublin shows. Later in the show, for her 1989 era, Taylor again sported the country’s colours as she wore bejewelled orange bralet and ombre green skirt.

Meanwhile, as confetti flowed in the air Taylor sported a multicoloured frock and showed off her peachy derriere. ‘Taylor stunning in tonight’s very on-theme new Irish 1989 outfit!’
Earlier in the day, Taylor revealed she was ‘already feeling the Irish hospitality’ after rock band U2 gifted her a sweet bouquet to wish her luck ahead of her gig. The American singer marked her first Dublin show before heading to Amsterdam the following week. And Taylor appears to be loving her time in Dublin already as she took to her Instagram story on Friday to share with her followers a gorgeous snap of a bunch of pastel flowers. Alongside the bouquet, was also a handwritten card by members of the band. The sweet message read: ‘Dear Taylor, Welcome back to our hometown… leave some of it standing?!!!! Your Irish fan club, Bono, Edge, Adam and Larry.’ Taylor captioned the sweet snap with: ‘Already feeling that Irish hospitality!! @u2, thanks for always being the classiest & coolest (Irish flag).’
As Taylor prepares to kick off her gig in Dublin, eager fans were pictured waiting outside of the stadium and all were dressed to impress. A plethora of pink feather boas, cowgirl hats, and sequin ensembles were spotted as fans patiently waited to enter the venue. The hit singer, who regularly breaks records, played the 100th show of her Eras Tour at Liverpool earlier this month, the first of three back-to-back shows. Taylor said she broke the stadium’s attendance record. The previous record was 61,905 fans for an FA Cup fourth-round tie back in 1952. ‘Thank you to everyone who came out this weekend (you broke the all-time stadium attendance record!!) AND thank you to everyone who has come to any of the shows on The Eras Tour. It’s been the adventure of a lifetime because of you.’

It comes before Daily Mail revealed on Friday that Taylor is already working on new music for 2025 and has plans to tour again in 2026. She has had an incredibly hectic year with her 152-date Eras tour and the release of The Tortured Poets Department. However, both have not stopped her from already working on new music as insiders revealed she could be releasing more songs early next year. Speaking to DailyMail.com, insiders have claimed she has been writing new material while on the road – which could see her address the controversy surrounding her alleged rivalry with Charli XCX. ‘Taylor is working on a new record which is due out in 2025 followed by a new tour in 2026,’ an insider told DailyMail.com. ”She is heavily inspired by all the new experiences she is having on the Eras tour and has been quietly writing songs backstage.’ ‘Contrary to what some say, she loves artists like Charli XCX so those who have heard some of the ideas say she is paying attention to what is hot right now and will use that as inspiration.’
Taylor’s TTPD – her 11th studio album – has maintained the No.1 position on the Billboard 200 chart since its release on April 19. A double album edition titled The Anthology, which contained 15 bonus tracks, was surprise-released digitally two hours later. It comes before insiders revealed to DailyMail.com on Friday that Taylor is already working on new music for 2025 and has plans to tour again in 2026 (pictured earlier this month). However, some critics have suggested her chart success could be a result of the periodic release of variant and extended editions to keep sales and streaming figures high. In total, she has now put out 37 versions in two months. Taylor is currently on the European leg of her Eras Tour, which saw her boyfriend Travis Kelce join her on stage on Saturday night, one day before a cavalry of stars – and royalty – descended on London’s Wembley Stadium for her takeover. The 152-date tour has smashed records, surpassing the $1 billion mark to become the highest-grossing of all time before it was even halfway finished. Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour was crowned the highest-grossing concert film of all time when it hit theatres back in October. It also broke a Disney+ record for the most-streamed music film after just three days, tallying up a collective 16.2 million hours in its opening weekend in March.
