The Francisco Villa National Fair has reported a successful event since its opening on Friday, July 19. According to Lauro Arce Gallegos, the director of Fairs, Events, and Tourist Walks, the atmosphere inside and outside the fairgrounds has remained calm and secure.
On Monday night, a significant turnout was witnessed during the performance of Junior H, drawing thousands of attendees, a level of attendance that had not been seen in quite some time. From 9 a.m., both young people and adults gathered at the fairgrounds to secure their spots for the concert. To maintain order, screens were set up outside the venue to accommodate the crowd.
A viral moment during the concert involved three women arguing over a seat, which sparked some criticism on social media. In response, the director expressed his regret regarding the incident and urged parents to teach their children the importance of remaining calm and respectful, especially in high-stress situations.
Despite this hiccup, Arce Gallegos confirmed that the event proceeded without major issues, and the venue’s security effectively managed the situation. He also emphasized the crucial role that security forces have played in ensuring a healthy, family-friendly atmosphere at the Francisco Villa National Fair, maintaining the positive conditions that are expected to continue throughout the festivities.
