Tracy Tutor Shares Her Current Relationship Status with Josh Flagg

Since Josh Flagg joined the cast of “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” back in Season 2, viewers have witnessed many ups and downs in his love life. After his breakup from long-term beau Colton Thorn, Josh embarked on a romance with eventual husband Bobby Boyd. The couple announced their split in March 2022 and finalized their divorce the following year. On Season 14 of MDLLA, which aired from the end of 2022 through the spring of 2023, the real estate powerhouse highlighted his relationship with Andrew Beyer. Fast-forward about a year later, and Josh just exclusively shared where he stands in his dating life with BravoTV.com.

The real estate agent, who joined the Compass team in March 2024, hinted at recent “changes” in his relationship status. “My love life?” he asked BravoTV.com. “It changes every day.” Josh didn’t share any other details about his personal life, though his castmate and close pal, Tracy Tutor, opened up about being single in her own chat with BravoTV.com. “Oh, my relationship life. Let’s see — we’ve been married and divorced, in a few different relationships,” she said. “Most recently, I am single [and] back on the market. Watch out fellas, I’m coming for you.”

When the California native isn’t listing luxury properties, he likes to get away. “When I’m not working, I’m mostly traveling,” he told BravoTV.com about what his interests are outside of real estate. “That’s definitely what I do when I’m either slow, or I want to take time off.”

Josh Flagg is moving to a new home — a new home brokerage, that is. The celebrity real estate agent and “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” star is joining Compass in its Beverly Hills Office, as Flagg reveals exclusively to The Hollywood Reporter. “I made the strategic decision to join the top brokerage in the country. Compass’ sterling reputation, extensive network, cutting-edge agent resources, and unwavering commitment to professionalism align perfectly with my values and business goals,” says Flagg in a statement. “With this new partnership, I am confident I will gain access to new opportunities for growth and deliver exceptional results for my clients.”

In a phone interview with THR, Flagg says that he’s bringing more than $400 million in residential listings with him over to Compass. His current listings include a prime property that’s just hit the market for $11.495 million, a Wallace Neff-designed mansion in Bel-Air that’s the former estate of Judy Garland. “It’s an exquisite traditional home that’s been completely renovated down to the studs,” says Flagg, who’s also selling The Knoll House in Pasadena, a 1916 mansion designed by Myron Hunt and Gordon Kaufman. “It’s the most expensive house in Pasadena,” he says. “It’s also the biggest house. It’s 32,000 square feet with a 20,000-square-foot art gallery.”

Flagg was long a star agent at Rodeo Realty before moving in 2021 to Douglas Elliman, which remains home to his “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” co-stars Josh and Matt Altman and Tracy Tutor. “While I am grateful for my years at Douglas Elliman, especially my colleagues who are like family, I look forward to my next venture. I love Elliman and wish everyone at the firm my very best,” says Flagg, adding that he doesn’t think his move will affect the Bravo show. “We all have amazing relationships and do business together, I don’t see this changing our dynamic in any way whatsoever.”

As for what to expect in the season 15 of “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles,” Flagg says he’s not yet at liberty to discuss the upcoming season. “We don’t have a date yet, but it’s coming out very shortly,” is all he would say.

Last year, Flagg got into the media business, launching Estate Media, which focuses on real estate content including video, newsletters, and podcasts — former “Million Dollar Listing” stars James Harris and David Parnes recently joined Estate Media’s talent roster — and he published his third book, “The Deal: Secrets for Mastering the Art of Negotiation” in late 2022.

He’s also firmly committed to living full-time in Los Angeles, despite buying a house in Miami last summer. “I’ve only been there once for 45 minutes,” says Flagg of the vacation home, which he purchased for $4.25 million along with business partners Adam Rubin and Andrew Shanfeld of private equity and real estate investment firm Carolwood LP.

Flagg lives in Beverly Hills, where he bought a new residence in 2022, a 1926 Italian villa that was listed for $9.2 million and boasts seven bedrooms and more than 7,100 square feet of living space.

Judy Garland’s former Bel-Air estate, designed by architect Wallace Neff and completed in 1938, sits on nearly 2.9 acres and includes five bedrooms with 5,513-square-feet of living space.

Flagg, who regularly makes THR‘s list of Hollywood’s Top Real Estate Agents, specializes in luxury properties in Beverly Hills, Holmby Hills, and Bel-Air and regularly sets records in the flats of Beverly Hills. He’s repped such clients as UTA’s Tracey Jacobs, Universal Music Publishing Group chairman and CEO Jody Gerson, and Tinder co-founder Justin Mateen.

“We’re excited to officially welcome Josh to Compass,” said Compass founder and CEO Robert Reffkin in a statement. “With Josh’s experience and forward-looking approach to his business, I am excited for what he will achieve at Compass.”

In the fall of 2023, the brokerage also unveiled Compass AI, designed to help its agents with creating listing descriptions among other marketing strategies.

A lot has changed for Josh Flagg, Tracy Tutor, and Josh Altman since Season 14 of “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” concluded, and as the video above shows, that includes the real estate market. In the clip, which is a preview of the July 10 Season 15 premiere, Tracy talks to her team about their current business. “This is an incredibly frustrating market,” she says. “Listings were coming last year that were super easy. It ain’t that market anymore.”

In separate episode interviews, Tracy and Altman explain exactly why their businesses have taken a hit after Los Angeles passed Measure ULA, a transfer tax also known as the “mansion tax.” “The citizens of Los Angeles voted to have a four percent tax on sales over $5 million,” Tracy says in the clip, to which Altman adds, “If you have a house 10 [million dollars] and up, you pay five-and-a-half percent when you sell the house.” In conclusion, Tracy declares, “Sellers don’t want to sell, so that ruins our life.”

In a June interview with The Daily Dish, Tracy explained more about why sellers are hesitant to say goodbye to their homes in the current market. “Obviously in L.A., we’ve got a couple of new challenges,” she said. “Number one, we have a new tax that went into effect and that has really crushed development in the market, and, of course, anybody who bought a house in the last three years at the lower interest rates isn’t really interested in selling because their interest rates change.”

“To sell a house that’s north of 10 million now costs you five-and-a-half percent in transfer tax, plus an additional five or so percent in commission,” she continued. “So, you’re looking at close to 11 percent in trading fees, which can shift the narrative for the seller. So, people are holding onto their homes, rightfully so.”

With that in mind, Tracy and Altman have expanded to other locations. “If you want to know the truth, the market sucks,” Tracy explains in the video above. “With the sales down in Los Angeles, I’m tapping Texas more, I’m tapping Orange County more.” Noting in the clip that he is “down this year, probably 25 percent,” Altman reveals he has also beefed up his business in Orange County. “We’re building the Newport Beach office,” he says. “So whatever we’ve lowered down to in sales in L.A., we’ve gained in Newport.”

However, that doesn’t mean business is coming easy. “We’re in a difficult market,” he says. “I have no choice but to take every listing, so I don’t have any extra time.” Tracy feels similar pressure to take whatever comes her way. “In this current market, I am doing whatever I have to do,” she says. “Because I have two kids to send to college.”

Flagg, meanwhile, is taking a different approach. “I’m doing a lot better than I would’ve expected,” he says. “I stick to what I know, which is Bel Air, the Bird Streets, Beverly Hills. I’m not interested in going to Orange County or Mars.”

Tracy Tutor is showing off her newly completed L.A. home — and digging into the drama that got her here. Ahead of the premiere of season 14 of “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” (Dec. 8), Tutor, 47, recalled how the end of season 13 documented her purchasing the stunning Spanish-style home after her co-star Josh Flagg gave up his commission so she could afford it. “It was a really sweet moment because I really didn’t think I was going to get the house at that point. I hit my threshold of discomfort and I thought it was over. And so when he surprised me with the keys…” she says, beginning to get emotional. “That’s why I love this kid because I think his heart — as dysfunctional as he can be — his heart is in the right place.”

The real estate agent also opened up about recruiting her ex-husband, Jason Maltas, to help with her home renovation. The exes divorced in 2018 and share two teenage daughters, Scarlett and Juliet. “Working with my ex-husband — that was a decision that I was on the fence about,” she says. “I just decided, you know what? We’re actually in a good place. It’s been almost four years and honestly, we didn’t hit that many bumps in the road.” She added that Maltas, who works in the construction industry, was “gracious” while working on the home, which Tutor shares with her boyfriend, Erik Anderson. “They got to know each other during the process and Jason was really gracious and always really respectful of Erik,” she says. “We’re all living under one roof and Jason walks in and has coffee with us in the morning. I’m proud of it. I think it’s a cool way to be.”

Tutor tells PEOPLE that her Beverly Hills home, which has four bedrooms in the main house, reflects a “soft, contemporary and textural” vibe. “I didn’t do a ton of color,” she says. “I just wanted it to feel warm, light and comfortable.” The reality star added that she spends the most time in her new kitchen, which features marble countertops and wood cabinetry. “I’m always in the kitchen,” she explains. “My designer Kara [Smith] talked me into doing this big seating area in the kitchen instead of a table, more of a nook, and now I work here all the time.” Wanting to stick to a “resort-like” feel in the backyard, Tutor says she filled the outdoor space with olive trees, comfy seating, a fire pit, and a water fountain. “It’s all seating areas everywhere so I can cozy up and feel like I’m on vacation,” she says. “After the chaos of what I do for a living, I just want this to be a very peaceful, serene environment. That’s what I was hoping for.”

While the main house and yard are complete, she adds that tackling her guest house will be “phase two” of the renovation process. She’s also finishing up her garage and a state-of-the-art gym equipped with a sauna and cryotherapy chamber — which she expects to be completed in just a few months.

Tracy Tutor and her boyfriend, Erik Anderson, are “taking a break” from their relationship after three and a half years together. The “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” agent revealed as much on the August 22 episode of Jeff Lewis’ radio show, “Jeff Lewis Live.” The revelation about Tracy and Erik’s relationship came after Jeff said, “Tracy is unfortunately single.” “Unfortunately? Jesus, Jeff,” Tracy responded with a laugh, prompting Jeff to explain his reasoning for the remark. “Well, I don’t like to see you break up!” Tracy then explained that they’re “taking a break.” What’s more, Erik moved out of her house about a month ago. “I actually just sold him a condo,” Tracy shared. “We’re about to close escrow.” Suffice to say, the split is “very amicable,” she added.

Tracy didn’t provide any additional details about her and Erik’s break, but she did offer a hilarious argument for why she’s better off when she’s in a relationship. “I need a boyfriend. I should not be single; it’s dangerous for myself, for the city of Los Angeles, and for wherever else I travel to,” Tracy joked. “I make poor decisions left and right. I go out on a Monday night. I stole a car accidentally in the Hamptons. Things just go wrong.”

The former couple began dating back in 2020 after Tracy finalized her divorce from Jason Maltas. They went Instagram official that summer, and in publicly sharing their first photo, Tracy also declared that anyone with “anything negative to say” should “take it somewhere else.” “Keep it positive,” Tracy continued in the comments section of her post, “or don’t be here.” The request came after some of Tracy’s followers pointed out her and Erik’s 20-year age difference. Tracy continued to address the criticism throughout their relationship, including in a 2021 sit-down with TODAY’s Maria Shriver. “That’s really the problem with how society is viewing, you know, dating younger men, or [Erik], you know, dating an older woman,” she said. “What does he quote unquote bring to the table because I’m the financial breadwinner? … Well, the fact that you’re even asking that question is a part of, like, the shift that is the problem. Like, we never ask that question if a man is making more money than the woman.”

Tracy followed up the interview with an Instagram post in which she thanked fans for supporting her after she began to open up about her love life on MDLLA. “I want to say thank you all of you who have not put me in a box and value my personal experience being shared on our show,” she captioned her post, which featured a photo of her and Shriver, as well as a video from their interview. “I’ve received countless messages about how you feel like there is a bit of a double standard when it comes to women dating younger men. I feel you and I think now, more than ever, it’s time to say F–K it.”

Another point Tracy regularly made when discussing her and Erik’s relationship was how supportive he was of her career. As she put it in 2021, “He’s very supportive of me, and he’s kept me really focused … It’s been great to have a man in my life that’s supportive of my career, which doesn’t really ever stop or slow down. I think ultimately that was a tough part about my marriage to Jason. Being as successful as I was can interfere a lot with the male ego. It’s just nice to have someone in my life that isn’t affected by that. [Erik] has just been a very positive influence in my life, which you wouldn’t think would happen with someone as young as him.”

Speaking of marriage, Tracy shared her thoughts about taking that step with Erik back in January on “Watch What Happens Live” after host Andy Cohen asked if she had plans to walk down the aisle again. Her response? “Been there, done that.” “Listen, he’s 28 years old. I’m 47… it’s just not in the cards,” Tracy said. “But that’s OK, and we’re living our best life today.”
