Travis Kelce was seen tearing up during a special medley performed by Taylor Swift at her concert in Amsterdam, part of her ‘Eras’ tour. The NFL star, who is 34 years old, appeared in a fan video crying while his girlfriend, also 34, delivered an acoustic mash-up during Saturday night’s show.
Taylor surprised her audience by performing "Mary’s Song (Oh My My My)" from her self-titled album, a song she hadn’t sung in nearly 16 years. She then transitioned into "So High School" from her new album, "The Tortured Poets Department," and treated fans to "Everything Has Changed" from her 2012 album, "Red."
As Taylor sang poignant lyrics, Travis was seen wiping away tears. The lines, "’Cause all I know is we said hello. And your eyes look like coming home. All I know is a simple name. And everything has changed," seemed to resonate deeply with him.
Moments later, Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Travis’s teammate Patrick Mahomes, approached him to check on how he was doing. By the end of Taylor’s performance, however, Travis was all smiles. He lit up when Taylor sang, "I’ll be 87, you’ll be 89," a line from a song she wrote 18 years ago. The lyrics have taken on a new significance for the couple and their fans, especially since Travis wears the number 87 for the Kansas City Chiefs and Taylor was born in 1989.
Travis has been traveling the world to support Taylor on her tour, and fans speculated that he made a surprise appearance at one of her Dublin concerts. She looked genuinely happy and surprised to see him in the crowd.
