Texas-based rapper Enchanting, whose real name was Channing Nicole Larry, has tragically passed away at the age of 26. The news of her death was confirmed on June 11 by her close associate CJ Kasino, who shared a heartfelt message on Instagram. His post suggested that Enchanting had been on life support before the decision was made to pull the plug.
Her management team also confirmed the sad news, revealing that Enchanting had been struggling with drug withdrawals. They shared that she had spent the last four days at their home trying to get clean, doing everything in their power to help her.
Enchanting’s career took off when she signed with Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records in 2020. She released five studio albums, with her final album, “Luv Scarred/No Luv (Deluxe),” dropping in November 2022. This album featured collaborations with notable artists like Gucci Mane, Coi Leray, Big Scarr, and Key Glock.
Following the announcement of her death, tributes poured in from the music community. Gucci Mane expressed his sorrow on Instagram, calling Enchanting a “great young lady” and a “true star.” He shared a photo of her wearing 1017 chains, highlighting the bond they shared.
Her boyfriend, MotionGod Bandman, also took to social media to express his grief, stating that she had finally found the peace she was searching for. Other artists, including Leilani Capalot and Yella Beezy, shared their condolences and memories of Enchanting, praising her genuine and kind nature.
