Watching Jenn Tran’s Season of ‘The Bachelorette’ for Free on ABC

After charming audiences with her bubbly personality on Joey Graziadei’s season of “The Bachelor,” Jenn Tran is set to begin her journey as the new Bachelorette in Summer 2024. This season, the 21st of the series, will see Tran handing out roses and searching for love among 25 suitors at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch. Here’s everything you need to know about watching Jenn Tran’s season of “The Bachelorette” for free on ABC.

Jenn Tran, a 26-year-old physician assistant student, made history as the first Asian American Bachelorette. Tran, who was a contestant on Joey Graziadei’s season of “The Bachelor,” was sent home during Week 7. During Graziadei’s “After the Final Rose” ceremony, she revealed, “I’m looking for someone who has a really big personality. I want someone who has that kind of banter. I’m all about having fun… and I want someone who’s going to be able to take it as much as they can dish it. And if we just spend the whole night literally making fun of each other that will be the most ideal night ever.”

Jesse Palmer, a former Bachelor star and TV personality, will be joining Tran’s side as he returns to host the 21st season of “The Bachelorette.” Palmer became the show’s permanent host in 2021, replacing Chris Harrison.

The Bachelorette Season 21 premieres with a two-hour episode on Monday, July 8, 2024, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. New episodes will drop weekly every Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and will be available to stream on Hulu the next day. Here’s the release schedule so far:

– Episode 2, “Week 2”: July 15, 2024
– Episode 3, “Week 3”: July 22, 2024

For those without cable, you can stream ABC online at ABC.com with a cable provider log-in. Additionally, you can watch ABC on TV streaming services like Hulu+ Live TV, DirecTV Stream, fuboTV, and SlingTV, all of which offer free trials. New episodes of “The Bachelorette” will be available on Hulu the next day. The most affordable Hulu plan, including ads, costs $7.99 monthly and comes with a 30-day free trial. The Hulu (No Ads) plan is priced at $17.99 per month, and Hulu + Live TV is available for $76.99 per month with a three-day free trial.

In “The Bachelorette,” one woman meets around 25 eligible bachelors and gets to know them over eight to ten weeks. Each week, the cast travels to different domestic and international destinations, and the Bachelorette goes on one-on-one, two-on-one, and group dates. At the end of each week, she gives out roses during the rose ceremony. Men who don’t receive a rose go home, while those who do stay in the competition.

When only a few contestants are left, the Bachelorette visits their hometowns to meet their families. Then there’s the Fantasy Suites, where the final few bachelors go on overnight dates to have more intimate time without cameras. The “Men Tell All” episode airs a week or two before the season finale, where eliminated bachelors discuss their experiences on the show. In the season finale, the Bachelorette chooses between the last two bachelors — though sometimes there could be three. Finally, “After the Final Rose” is when Bachelorette and the final contestants provide updates on their relationships. The next Bachelor is often announced during this episode.

With season 21 of “The Bachelorette” starting shortly, now’s the time to organize a watch party, procure a bottle of wine, or make predictions based on the released list of suitors. The latest edition of the ABC show will center on Jenn Tran, a 26-year-old physician assistant student and The Bachelorette’s first Asian American lead. Tran, who appeared on Joey Graziadei’s season of “The Bachelor,” will whittle down a group of 25 guys on a journey that will start at a new mansion, before jetting off to Australia and New Zealand, according to ABC. Season 21 will premiere on Monday evening, and there are also ways to stream the debut if you don’t have cable. If you want to catch every group date and flying spark this season, here’s everything you need to know before the two-hour first episode.

Regular Hulu provides new Bachelorette episodes the day after they air, so those with a subscription can watch the premiere episode starting on Tuesday, July 9. Unlike regular Hulu, Hulu with live TV starts at $77 a month and the entry tier offers the ad-supported Disney Bundle (Hulu, Disney Plus, always ad-based ESPN Plus) and an assortment of live channels including ABC.

YouTube TV is another live TV streamer with ABC in its channel lineup. The service outdoes its competitors when it comes to inclusions from CNET’s list of 100 top channels. If you want to watch “The Bachelorette” premiere live, you can sign up for $73 a month.

Sling TV may or may not grant you access to ABC and “The Bachelorette” premiere. Live streaming of ABC might be available to you with a $40-45 a month Sling Blue subscription, but it depends on what city you’re located in. Head to this site to check.
