When Cazzu Saved Her Best Friend and Supported Her During the Hardest Time

The Argentine singer Cazzu has been involved in quite a scandal following the split from her former partner and the father of her child, Christian Nodal. Shortly after their separation, Nodal began a relationship with singer Ángela Aguilar. During this difficult time, Cazzu has leaned on her close circle, including her best friend and fellow artist, La Joaqui.

A day after Christian Nodal and Ángela Aguilar publicly confirmed their relationship, attention shifted to Cazzu, who had just ended her relationship with Nodal, the father of her eight-month-old daughter. Amid the turmoil, La Joaqui shared a photo gallery featuring moments with her two daughters, Cazzu, and Cazzu’s daughter, Inti.

La Joaqui captioned the post with, “Mami carrete,” showcasing her support for Cazzu. Cazzu responded by saying, “How to explain happiness in photos: HAPPINESS IN PHOTOS. I love you immensely, my girls, my angels.”

What many might not know is that Cazzu and La Joaqui share a friendship that has weathered many challenges and tested their loyalty.

Cazzu Saved La Joaqui’s Life

La Joaqui had a promising start to her career. She and Cazzu became very close through their musical collaboration, even releasing a successful track titled ‘Ay Papi’ in 2017. However, La Joaqui distanced herself from music due to an extremely violent and toxic relationship.

“If there was one person who knew I wasn’t okay, it was Cazzu,” Joaquinha mentioned in an interview.

La Joaqui explained that during this period, she was trapped in the violent relationship, endangering both her life and that of her daughters. She had no way out, no phone, no social media, her career was in shambles, and she had no home, job, or income. Desperate, she called Cazzu, the only phone number she remembered.

“I went to a store and told Cazzu, ‘Nothing, friend, I’m here at this place. I’m scared something might happen to me or that I might die, and my little girls…,” she recounted on a TV program.

Cazzu sent a taxi to pick her up and gave her the keys to an apartment where La Joaqui could safely escape the abusive relationship with her daughters. La Joaqui lived there until she could reorganize her life and resume her music career. “I got back up higher than I fell,” she said on the show.

Cazzu’s support was crucial for La Joaqui to survive the violent relationship and rebuild her life and career. Both artists have risen to prominence, and a year ago, they released the song ‘Glock’ together, which speaks to their struggles and successes in achieving their dreams.
