‘Yellowstone’ stars Ryan Bingham and Hassie Harrison get married in Texas

Yellowstone stars Ryan Bingham and Hassie Harrison have officially tied the knot in a heartfelt ceremony that perfectly encapsulated their Western roots. The wedding took place at Harrison’s family home in Dallas, Texas, and was a beautiful blend of elegance and Western charm, reflecting the couple’s personalities and their characters on the popular Paramount Network drama series.

Harrison, 34, shared with Vogue that the wedding was designed to be more than just a series of events. “From the start, Ryan and I just really wanted to create a day that wasn’t just a series of events—but a heartfelt experience that centered around emotions, comfort, intimacy, and genuine moments with the people we love the most,” she said. “Every choice was a reflection of us, and getting to witness it all come to life was incredible.”

The ceremony was a nod to their Western-themed show, with Harrison opting for an “elegant Western” theme. She wore a corseted and beaded gown by Galia Lahav to walk down the aisle and later changed into a short Netta BenShabu dress for the reception, complete with long lace gloves. Bingham, 43, donned a tailored tuxedo by Kiton, custom-made boots by Republic Boots in Texas, and a hat by American Hat Co.

The wedding weekend kicked off with a “cowboy cocktail welcome night” at Dallas’ Crescent Club, featuring an old-time Western bar, a mariachi band, Texas wildflowers, and a DJ. The ceremony itself was designed to mimic Texas’s oldest dance hall, Gruene Hall, with communal style tables and a living greenery wall adorned with the phrase “live the best of this life.” The menu was a Texas feast, including cornbread, caviar, smoked ribs, and corn on the cob.

Harrison’s sisters wore custom-designed black dresses by Mackenzie Brittingham, and the couple’s dog even made an appearance, walking down the aisle. The event was officiated by Harrison’s close friend Gabriel Hogan, adding a personal touch to the ceremony.

The couple’s love story is as serendipitous as it is romantic. Harrison revealed to Vogue that her mother played a crucial role in bringing them together. “Our story is thanks to my mom,” she said. “She and Ryan met by chance through a mutual friend at a charity event in Dallas during a production break. I wasn’t there, but it just happened to be during a time when both Ryan and I were transitioning into new chapters of our lives. They got to talking and discovered just how many Texas-based friends and acquaintances we had in common—so sensing an opportunity, she encouraged Ryan to give me a call.”

Their relationship blossomed quickly, and they announced their romance in the spring of 2023. By June 2023, they had purchased a home together in Topanga Canyon, just outside of Los Angeles. Bingham, who plays the ex-con-turned-ranch-hand Walker on Yellowstone, and Harrison, who joined the cast in season 3 as the troublemaking barrel racer Laramie, have taken their on-screen romance off-screen in the most beautiful way.

The couple’s wedding was filled with emotional moments, including their hand-written vows. “It was like something out of a fairytale,” Harrison told Vogue. “It was hard to hold back tears. My vows were not just promises to Ryan but also to his children. It was a particularly special moment for me, as I got to express to them just how much they mean to me and what an honor it has been to become a bonus mom to them.”

Bingham’s three children, whom he shares with his ex-wife Anna Axster, played significant roles in the ceremony, serving as the flower girl, ring bearer, and even walking the couple’s dog down the aisle. The reception tent was a nod to Gruene Hall, featuring communal style tables, hardwood floors, and neon lights, with a greenery wall backdrop displaying the phrase “live the best of this life.”

The couple’s journey to marriage included not one, but two proposals. Harrison recalled the first proposal happening on a typical evening at their home. “Ryan had been unusually quiet all night, and I could see he was visibly nervous—which was out of character for him,” she said. “Then, out of nowhere he broke the silence and said, ‘I want to ask you to marry me, but only if you say yes.’ I didn’t hesitate a moment before telling him I would. It’s true what they say—when you know, you just know.”

After getting her father’s blessing, Bingham proposed again during dinner, this time with a ring in hand. “It was a night that captured everything right, effortless, and genuinely beautiful about what we love most about one another and the relationship we’ve built together,” Harrison added.

The wedding was a magical event, filled with love, energy, and a palpable sense of togetherness. “Seeing generations from both sides of our families, our friends, and especially the children all coming together was such a blessing,” Harrison said. “And then there was the moment I locked eyes with Ryan as I walked toward him. Seeing the tears well up in his eyes—it just melted my heart. It was a moment so raw and filled with emotion, it perfectly captured everything we felt about stepping into this new chapter together.”

Yellowstone fans were thrilled to see their favorite on-screen couple, Walker and Laramie, find happiness together in real life. The couple’s wedding was a beautiful celebration of their love, blending their Western roots with elegance and heartfelt moments.
