Niall Horan found a heartwarming way to reward one of his most dedicated fans during his recent solo concert at Madison Square Garden in New York. The 30-year-old singer, who recently unfollowed former One Direction manager Simon Cowell, made the gesture during his sold-out show on Thursday night, part of his tour supporting his solo album, “The Show.”
In a TikTok video released on Friday, Horan shared the story of a fan named Megan who had tweeted him a couple of years ago, saying, “Niall, sell out MSG and I’ll be front row.” The Irish singer revealed that Megan was indeed at the concert but didn’t have front-row seats. “It doesn’t feel right. Let’s see what we can do,” he said.
The video then cuts to Megan holding a sign that read, “I may not be in the front row… but we both made it.” Despite not having front-row seats, Megan expressed her happiness, saying, “I’m still here and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.”
Horan then arranged for Megan to receive a letter containing a front-row ticket. As she read the letter, Megan was overcome with emotion, falling to the floor and exclaiming, “No, this isn’t real, this is not real!” The video later shows Megan enjoying the concert from her new front-row seat, visibly thrilled.
During the concert, Horan explained that Megan’s original tweet had become quite famous among his fan group. “I just found out that Megan is here somewhere but she doesn’t have front-row seats,” he said. He added that he had some helpers talk to her before the show to give her the big surprise.
The singer also mentioned that Megan’s seat upgrade was a last-minute decision. “I’m not sure where Megan’s seats were, but we had to move her up when I knew she was coming,” he said.
Horan began the North American leg of his tour in late May and will continue performing sold-out shows in the US and Canada through the end of July. He will then head to Mexico in September, followed by stops in South America, including Rio De Janeiro and Buenos Aires, through October 6.
The concert at Madison Square Garden was a significant milestone for Horan, who was visibly emotional during the show. “This is a dream come true, thank you so much for selling this place out – I can’t believe it,” he told the crowd.
Megan later expressed her gratitude on social media, writing, “I love you so much, thank you so, so much Niall, words can’t explain.” She added, “So, so proud of this man, he did it.”
Horan’s gesture has further solidified his bond with his fans, showing that he values their support and is willing to go the extra mile to make their dreams come true. The singer’s emotional connection with his fans was evident throughout the night, making the concert a memorable experience for everyone in attendance.
