Blake Shelton is feeling “happy anywhere,” especially while celebrating his 48th birthday in Italy with his wife, Gwen Stefani.
The country star, who turned 48, shared snippets of his birthday festivities on Instagram, giving fans a peek into his unique birthday experience with the “Just a Girl” singer, who is 54. The posts included glimpses of his one-of-a-kind birthday setup and accessories.
Shelton began his Instagram post with a selfie, donning a green printed button-up shirt and orange glasses that read “Happy Birthday!” He also sported a disco ball helmet, posing amidst neon lights and streamers in the background.
Another photo showed the Grammy winner asleep in a bed, surrounded by silver balloons spelling out “Happy Birthday.” The bed was adorned with black and white pillows, and additional white balloons were scattered across the ceiling.

In a follow-up Instagram post, Shelton expressed gratitude to his fans for their birthday wishes and revealed that the celebration took place in Italy. He shared a photo of himself riding a bicycle with a helmet on, navigating an Italian street.
“Thanks for the birthday wishes everybody,” he wrote. “I’ve drank so much in Italy that Gwen wanted to be sure I made it back to the hotel safely… I’m still not there though…”
On June 18, Stefani marked her husband’s 48th birthday with a video compilation of their sweetest moments, set to their duet “Purple Irises.” She wrote, “happy bday to the greatest, @blakeshelton 🤍 u are my everything !!” The video featured clips of their time together on The Voice, performing on stage, and enjoying nature.
