Teigen revealed that these nostalgic candies were her absolute favorite during her school years.
In the video, Teigen explained, “Okay guys, so a while ago I posted something about how much I missed Altoid Sours. Absolute favorite tangerine all through high school, middle school, loved them so much. So sour, so delicious. And at like, I don’t know if it was a meet and greet or if I was just out somewhere and a fan brought me this old package of Altoid Sours.”
As she examined the container, Teigen noted that the Altoids Sours had expired in August 2007. Despite the expiration date, she decided to open the package and give it a try. “I thought it’d be fun to open these up and try one,” she said while unraveling the packaging.
However, things took a turn when she noticed something unusual. “I don’t hear any like shaking or anything so that leads me to believe they maybe are a little stuck together,” she remarked. After some effort to open the lid, Teigen gasped at what she found inside.
The sweets had melted and turned into a gooey mess. Holding the container up to the camera, she showed the melted contents and said, “Maybe I won’t be trying them.” She burst into laughter, adding, “What happened? Oh no! Worst case scenario I thought they were just maybe all stuck together but that’s not the smell I’m familiar with either.”
Teigen concluded the video with a laugh, saying, “Alright well, thanks for tuning in!” She then put her head down on the table, still chuckling at the unexpected outcome.
