Attention, Hallmark fans: we have some major news to share with you, and it’s going to change the way you watch the network’s programming. The hit TV channel is famous for producing heartwarming movies and beloved shows like “When Calls the Heart” and “The Way Home.” While most of the programs can currently be found on either Hallmark or its sister channel Hallmark Mystery, the network is about to create a whole new way for fans to engage with everything Hallmark.
As Deadline reported on July 11, Hallmark just announced the launch of an exclusive streaming service. Aptly titled Hallmark+, the platform will launch this September and offer both previous programming and tons of new content exclusively for Hallmark Plus subscribers. “#BreakingNews!” the network’s social team wrote on Instagram shortly after the reveal. “#HallmarkPlus is an all-new streaming service & membership program coming this September with the best of @hallmark all in one place including new exclusive movies & series, special offers, benefits, and surprises! Keep following @hallmarkmoviesnow for more updates!”
When fans learned Hallmark was expanding their offerings with a streaming service and membership program, they were, of course, thrilled by the prospect. “Literally cannot wait. Signing up immediately when it’s available!!!” one person reacted. “Can’t wait to subscribe!” another exclaimed. “I’m so looking forward to seeing this channel. Absolutely love that there will be a variety of different creative content available to watch!!!” a different follower added.
While there’s no exact launch date just yet, Hallmark did tease on social media some of the new projects that will be exclusively available on Hallmark+. Along with the premiere of their upcoming drama “The Chicken Sisters,” Hallmark is embracing the world of reality TV with shows like “Celebrations With Lacey Chabert” and “Finding Mr. Christmas,” a competition series hosted by Jonathan Bennett. Additionally, Jonathan will star in a new movie trilogy called “The Groomsmen,” alongside Tyler Hynes and B.J. Britt.
What’s more, Hallmark is already detailing how much it will cost viewers to tap into the streaming site. Variety reported folks can subscribe to Hallmark+’s plans that start at $7.99 per month or $79.99 per year. The membership will also include benefits and rewards for the entire brand, like a $5 coupon for Hallmark’s Gold Crown Store every month, an unlimited amount of eCards, shopping rewards, and exclusive gifts.

Before I get to “All of My Heart 3,” I’d LOVE to share with you how I spent last Saturday. About six months ago, I was contacted by a Hallmark fan from Washington DC. She and her husband and a friend were heading to Vancouver, BC, and wanted to know if they could hire me as their film locations tour guide. I agreed, and we spoke by phone several times over the months so I could plan the PERFECT locations tour! Well, last weekend was the day, and I have to say, we really had an amazing time together!!! We spent 7 hours viewing locations all over the Fraser Valley, and their excitement was infectious!!! Seriously, I had THE most amazing time showing them places from their fave Hallmark movies, bringing those films to life. My sincere thanks to Dave, Marilyn, and Paul. I can’t wait for them to come back so we can do it again!!!
“All of My Heart” fans have been patiently waiting, and the day is nearly here; the wedding of everyone’s favorite innkeepers, Brian and Jenny! “All of My Heart 3” will premiere on the Hallmark Channel this coming Saturday, September 29, 2018, as part of their Fall Harvest line-up! From Hallmark: “Jenny and Brian are planning their incredibly romantic wedding. Emily’s Country Inn is filled to capacity with happy guests. Then a distant relative of Emily’s arrives, and she stakes a claim to the house. The pressure is on as Jenny and Brian try to raise enough money to hang onto their home. They go for broke expanding her company, Jenny’s Home Baked. Brian even considers a return to Wall Street. All of the wonderful friends they made in Bucks County are worried about their favorite couple, trying to figure out how to help. Jenny and Brian’s enduring love will once again be tested as the wedding day approaches and they struggle to keep the house that brought them together.”
While the storyline itself didn’t pull me in, (I feel it’s already been done before in AOMH2) I will, of course, be watching to witness the wedding and, of course, to look for any new film locations that might have been used. So, what do I know from a film location standpoint? Well, I decided to put together a list of confirmed locations that will be featured in the third installment of the AOMH franchise.
The Farmhouse: I first heard that AOMH3 was happening via a tip I received in an email. And I don’t know about you, but for me, the VERY FIRST question that came to my mind was, what farmhouse will they be using? You might recall that for filming of AOMH2, the farmhouse we saw in the original movie was not available because it had been rented out for another production. I wrote all about it in this post. Within hours of receiving the emailed tip, I was able to confirm that the farmhouse we saw in AOMH2 would be back for AOMH3. I am just speculating here, but I do not believe the original farmhouse was even considered. I know for a fact that it was not involved with any other production at the time filming of AOMH3 took place. And it does make sense to use the farmhouse from the second movie rather than try and explain the differences on screen like they did in AOMH2. You may recall it was mentioned a few times throughout the movie that Brian and Jenny had remodeled Emily’s Country Inn. How about a couple of behind-the-scenes tidbits??? The gazebo was built on the property and given to homeowners, Bob & Kathleen, once filming wrapped. Be sure to keep an eye out for the swing pictured below, which Kathleen herself built earlier this year. I think it is SO COOL that production used it in the movie!!! A feature film recently wrapped at the farmhouse, and a new series is currently in production there. (I will release the details when I am able to) Its turning into a busy year for Bob & Kathleen!!!
The General Store: The General Store that viewers know and love will be featured once again. I wrote all about the real-life Clayburn General Store in this post. (I cannot wait to hear that bell again!!!) Besides being a principal location in AOMH, we’ve seen this historic store before in Hallmark movies including “Aurora Teagarden Mysteries,” “The Christmas Note,” and “The Christmas Shepherd.” And keep an eye out for it THIS holiday season in the 2018 Hallmark movie, “It’s Christmas, Eve,” starring Leanne Rimes.
Casey’s Coffee Shop: I have confirmed that Milsean, the lovely café we’ve seen before in AOMH, “Christmas Cookies,” and “Dater’s Handbook,” will once again be featured in AOMH3. I wrote about it here. I have also been told that we will see Milsean this Christmas season in an upcoming 2018 holiday movie for Hallmark. I will update the movie title in a future post, as it is unknown at the time of this writing.
Alice’s House: Once again, the real-life Clayburn Bed & Breakfast will play the home of Jenny’s neighbor and good friend, Alice. I wrote about the B & B in this post. And it too, will be on screen this upcoming holiday season, in none other than Hallmark’s “Marrying Father Christmas,” airing this November on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel.
Misc: Thanks to fellow Hallmark fan and Twitter friend, Lisa, @grlgonehallmark, I learned of this AOMH3 location. (thanks girl!) According to this online article, AOMH3 filmed for a day in Ladner, using Real Estate and Law offices, along with a coffee house and florist. The Ladner/Delta area has been showing up more often in films, and it is easy to see why. It played the main town in last year’s “Miss Christmas,” “Finding Christmas,” and “Harvest Love.” Over a decade ago, the area was used in Hallmark’s “Mrs. Miracle.”
The one thing I clearly remember after AOMH2 premiered last year was all the complaints. Complaints about switching farmhouses, complaints about switching towns, complaints about switching goats. Here is my two cents on all the complaining. First off, AOMH fans should be grateful the network listened and a new movie was made. Fans asked for a sequel, and they got one!
In regards to the farmhouse, as I mentioned before, the farmhouse from the first movie wasn’t available for filming. Sure, network reps AND location scouts should have planned ahead before releasing a commercial of all things, announcing an AOMH sequel to air in the Fall. (I am surprised they didn’t secure ALL the key locations in advance) But the truth is, they film these movies in less than three weeks, and they don’t secure locations any more than a few weeks ahead of time. From what I’ve been told by the home and business owners I have interviewed, it all happens extremely fast, emphasis on extremely.
As far as the town, the only “town” that was shown in the first movie was Ed Asner’s character sitting on a bench next to the General Store. There wasn’t a town; they showed us a store on a road. In AOMH2, we saw Brian & Jenny go shopping for furnishings for the B & B. We saw Ed Asner’s character sitting on a bench in front of another store. They didn’t use a NEW town; they just expanded on showing us more of THE town. But I tell ya, people sure got riled up over that one! The area in which filming took place is super popular for movie making. Hallmark fans have seen it many times before, in movies like “SSD: The Wedding,” “Ms. Matched,” the “Father Christmas” movies, “Appetite for Love,” “Hearts of Christmas,” “Summer in the Vineyard,” “A Time to Dance,” “The Christmas Secret,” ……I swear I could go on and on. This is one of the most filmed on streets, and now it is part of “Bucks County.”
I was most surprised about the complaints I read about production not using the same goats. These are movies, not documentaries. The first movie was shot in 2015, and the second one was shot in 2017. So, filming took place TWO YEARS apart. It is absurd to believe that the same goats would be used! The original goats grew, new ones were brought in for the second film, just as we will see even MORE new ones in the 2018 AOMH3 installment. Because the goats used in last year’s 2017 AOMH2 will have grown over the last year. I want to add that never once did I question that new goats were used. It never even registered in my brain that they were different. You know me, I’m always on the prowl, looking for any new locations to scout!

What I’m Watching: I am most looking forward to seeing the wedding of Brian & Jenny. And of course, any new locations that catch my eye. “All of My Heart: The Wedding” will air this Saturday, September 29, 2018, on the Hallmark Channel.
Chesapeake Shores fans, do not miss the second to the last episode of the season, this Sunday, September 30, 2018, on the Hallmark Channel. As always, check your local listings for times.
A Little Weekend Fun: To say I am very excited about the coming weekend would be a major understatement! That’s because I am flying down to California for a couple of days to check out film locations from a very popular Hallmark movie. I have been wanting to visit these locations for a very long time, and it is FINALLY happening! (eeeek!) To be honest, I can hardly even believe it. While I will miss live Tweeting for the premiere of AOMH3, (I’m flying back home Saturday night) my DVR is all set to record, and I plan to watch it on Sunday. As for the trip locations, I will feature them in the coming months…..so please stay tuned!
Thank you: As I mentioned in this post a few weeks ago, I am not publishing a weekly location at this time. I am happy to share that I have been pleased with the outcome of my decision as I have been able to focus my time and attention on other areas of my life that I had been neglecting. I am grateful for the support I continue to receive here at I’ve Scene it On Hallmark. My deepest gratitude to each of you! I will be back soon with an all-new Hallmark location.
