Maite Perroni and Andrés Tovar Address Pregnancy Rumors
Recently, there has been speculation that Maite Perroni is pregnant with her second child. Andrés Tovar addressed these rumors, denying them.
"No, well, we appreciate all your good wishes and blessings, but no, it’s not true. We are not pregnant. When it happens, we’ll let you know, but for now, we are not," said the producer on the ‘Ventaneando’ program.
Andrés, Maite’s husband, also mentioned that he is unsure how the pregnancy rumor started.
"No, honestly, I don’t know. Last time, a paparazzo claimed she was pregnant, took some photos, and spread the news. Our daughter was born in mid-May, so the timeline of that rumor didn’t add up," he explained.
The producer made it clear that they are not expecting: "We are not expecting, not one month, not three months, not at all."
Maite Perroni and Andrés Tovar Wish to Expand Their Family
Even though they are not expecting another baby at the moment, Andrés Tovar does not rule out the possibility of having a second child.
“We’d like Lia to grow up with a sibling. We’re happy with her, but we are also leaving it up to God and life. We’re not undergoing any procedures or making plans right now. We’ll let life take its course,” he said.
Maite Perroni has also expressed interest in expanding their family in previous statements.
“I’d love that. Let’s see what life has in store for us. Hopefully, destiny will surprise us," the actress told various media outlets.
Journalist Mandy Fridmann was the one who initially suggested that the RBD member could be pregnant, which quickly fueled the rumor.
Maite Perroni and Andrés Tovar welcomed their daughter Lia in May 2023. “Welcome sleepless nights, diapers… alongside our unconditional love! You are our greatest blessing. We love you, Lia!” they said alongside a photo they posted on Instagram, showing the hands of all three family members.
Two months later, the couple revealed Lia’s face by posing with her on the cover of Quién magazine.
