Kate Middleton has praised the "power of nature" in promoting well-being.
The Princess of Wales, aged 42, expressed her belief in the calming qualities of the outdoors as she stepped back into the spotlight following her announcement about undergoing preventive cancer treatment.
During the opening of the new gardens at the Natural History Museum in London, Kate shared several messages on Instagram. She emphasized her strong support for the museum’s commitment to create a special space that encourages people of all ages to reconnect with nature and learn more about how to protect our natural world. She stated, "I know the power of nature to contribute to our development and well-being, bringing us joy and helping us maintain physical, mental, and spiritual health. I hope these gardens inspire and transform the thousands of people who visit them."
In her post, Kate included images from her visit to the museum three years ago, where she walked through the museum’s natural gardens and interacted with schoolchildren.
Last weekend marked Kate’s second public appearance of the year as she attended Wimbledon to watch the Grand Slam final from the royal box. The future queen was accompanied by her nine-year-old daughter, Princess Charlotte, and her sister Pippa Middleton, 40, and she received a warm ovation as she headed to the royal box.
Kate’s first public appearance since revealing her health status took place in June during the Trooping the Colour event. In March, she announced her preventive treatment for cancer following an abdominal surgery that had left her hospitalized earlier in the year.
