According to the show, the message from Álvarez simply said “Hola” to Montes, who did not respond, sparking speculation about the boxer’s intentions in reaching out to her.
Verónica Montes was asked about the boxer’s intentions behind sending her the message. She emphasized her principle of not engaging with married men, indirectly referencing Álvarez’s marital status.
“Above all, I would never respond to a married man,” Montes stated, raising further questions about what Álvarez might have intended. “I wouldn’t want it done to me when I’m married. I would never do it,” she added.
