Melissa Villarreal welcomes us to her husband Eduardo Zouain’s family home in Asturias.

On May 18, Melissa Villarreal and her husband Eduardo Zouain exchanged vows. Shortly after their wedding, they set off on a honeymoon that took them to Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique. Surprisingly, Eduardo extended their trip by five extra days in Dubai, which thrilled Melissa, a content creator and founder of The Villã Concept fashion brand.

The couple welcomed guests to their beautiful getaway in La Isla, Colunga, Asturias, a stunning seaside home filled with marine-themed decor collected from various travels by Ana Diego, Eduardo’s mother. “This place is the result of a long process of construction and decoration crafted with great care and effort by Ana. We love spending time here enjoying the views and the food, which is a dream!” says Melissa, relishing the special summer spot that holds childhood memories for Eduardo.

In La Isla, their days often start with a refreshing swim in the ocean, despite the chilly water. Eduardo enjoys surfing while Melissa likes to take walks in the mountains and extend leisurely afternoons on the porch and in the living room, where they gather with family and friends for quality time.

The couple has a wonderful family dynamic, with their house frequently filled with loved ones. While Eduardo takes charge of barbecues, Melissa prefers preparing stews, appetizers, and desserts.

Melissa recalls her fondest childhood summers were spent traveling with her family. “We traveled a lot, my parents were always on the move! I cherish unforgettable memories of riding trains through Switzerland and Austria.”

Reflecting on her relationship with her sister, Melissa describes her as an “soulmate.” Their bond is built on love, loyalty, and mutual admiration. She feels lucky to share every aspect of her life with her sister, less so her work and the brand they cultivate together.

Professionally, Melissa values working with brands she admires, knowing they trust her creativity and her platform to spread positive values. She dreams of starting a family with Eduardo, filled with children, all while nurturing her career and potentially branching out into psychology, the field she studied and holds close to her heart.

In summary, life in La Isla is characterized by rich family ties, beautiful surroundings, and a blend of personal and professional aspirations. With each moment treasured, the couple looks forward to the future they are building together.
