NBC has officially announced its fall premiere dates, setting the stage for an exciting lineup of returning favorites and new series. The network’s fall schedule kicks off with Premiere Week on Monday, September 23, featuring the highly anticipated return of “The Voice.” This season, the show introduces first-time coaches Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé, who will join returning coaches Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani. The two-hour Season 25 premiere of “The Voice” will be followed by the series debut of “Brilliant Minds,” a new drama led by Zachary Quinto.
The One Chicago franchise returns on Wednesday, September 25, with “Chicago Med” at 8 p.m., “Chicago Fire” at 9 p.m., and “Chicago P.D.” at 10 p.m. The following week, on Tuesday, October 1, “The Voice” will air its Tuesday premiere, leading into the Season 2 premiere of the drama series “The Irrational,” starring Jesse L. Martin, at 10 p.m.
On Thursday, October 3, NBC’s iconic “Law & Order” series return with “Law & Order” at 8 p.m. and “Law & Order: SVU” at 9 p.m. Following these premieres, Shanola Hampton stars in the second season of “Found,” airing at 10 p.m.
NBC shifts to comedy on Friday, October 18, with the premiere of “Happy’s Place,” a new sitcom led by Reba McEntire, at 8 p.m. This will be followed by the Season 3 launch of “Lopez vs. Lopez” at 8:30 p.m. The network’s other new comedy, “St. Denis Medical,” a hospital sitcom starring Wendi McLendon-Covey, David Alan Grier, and Allison Tolman, will premiere with back-to-back episodes on Tuesday, November 12. The series will continue in its regular 8 p.m. time slot the following week, followed by the Season 3 premiere of “Night Court” at 8:30 p.m.
On the sports front, NBC Sunday Night Football, the No. 1 primetime TV show for a record 13 consecutive years, will begin its schedule of 20 regular-season games on September 5. Additionally, college football will air on Saturday nights starting August 31.
NBC has also announced several midseason and summer shows, including “The Hunting Party,” “Deal or No Deal Island,” “The Americas,” and “Destination X.”
