Odessa Young Joins Bruce Springsteen Film Deliver Me From Nowhere

EXCLUSIVE: Odessa Young is set to join the ensemble cast of “Deliver Me From Nowhere,” the highly anticipated Bruce Springsteen film from 20th Century Studios. While her role hasn’t been officially confirmed, sources suggest she will portray Springsteen’s love interest.

Jeremy Allen White is slated to play Bruce Springsteen, with Scott Cooper directing the biopic. The film delves into the creation of Springsteen’s iconic album “Nebraska.” Paul Walter Hauser is also part of the cast.

In April, the studio finalized a deal to finance and distribute the film. The story follows Springsteen as he battles personal demons and grapples with his burgeoning fame. During this tumultuous period, he wrote and recorded “Nebraska,” a 1982 album known for its raw emotional depth, often compared to Joni Mitchell’s “Blue.”

Scott Stuber, in his first major move since leaving his long-time role as Netflix Film head, is producing the film. He is joined by Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Eric Robinson from Gotham Group.

Odessa Young is currently busy filming the Netflix limited series “Black Rabbit,” where she stars alongside Jude Law and Jason Bateman. She recently wrapped up shooting for Prime Video Australia’s limited series “Narrow Road to the Deep North,” based on Richard Flanagan’s Booker Prize-winning novel, where she starred opposite Jacob Elordi.

Young has a packed schedule ahead. She will soon appear in three upcoming films. First is Justin Kurzel’s crime thriller “The Order” for AGC Studios, where she stars with Jude Law, Tye Sheridan, and Nicholas Hoult. She also features in Thordur Palsson’s psychological horror film “The Damned” and has a lead role in Zia Anger’s “My First Film.”

Represented by CAA and Echo Lake Entertainment, Young is quickly becoming a sought-after talent in Hollywood.

The addition of Odessa Young to “Deliver Me From Nowhere” adds another layer of excitement to the project. The film promises to offer an intimate look at the making of one of Springsteen’s most critically acclaimed albums. With a stellar cast and a compelling story, it is shaping up to be a must-watch for fans of the rock legend and cinema enthusiasts alike.
