Pregnant Ashley Tisdale Shares ‘Horrible’ Bedtime Symptoms

Ashley Tisdale is opening up about the challenges she’s facing during her pregnancy.

On Tuesday, the 38-year-old actress, who is expecting her second child, took to Instagram Stories to share some of the “horrible” symptoms she’s been experiencing at night.

“Women at night during pregnancy: has horrible acid reflux, can’t get comfortable enough to sleep well, has a baby inside them jumping around and dancing. Can hardly move their body from left to right. Congestion so they can’t breathe well,” Tisdale wrote.

The High School Musical star also highlighted how men often react to these symptoms. “Men: I have to sleep in the guest room your snoring is keeping me up at night,” she added.

Her candid post quickly garnered reactions from her followers, who shared their own experiences. Comments included, “WOOOOF IN THE DOGHOUSEEEE,” “I feel seen,” “Exact conversation I’ve had with my husband,” and “My man recorded my snoring to show me how bad it was like yeah okay sorry I grew an organ today and I’m exhausted.”

Tisdale responded to the supportive messages, saying, “Thank you for making me feel less alone in this. Love you mommas.”

Tisdale and her husband, Christopher French, announced in March that they are expecting their second child. The couple, who married in 2014, are already parents to their 3-year-old daughter, Jupiter Iris French.

In a recent Instagram post, Tisdale shared a heartfelt tribute to French for Father’s Day. She posted family photos with the caption, “Happy Father’s Day to the best dad @cmfrench. You truly are the most patient man with all these ladies in your life! We love you so so much.”

French replied, “I love you. And I love my life. Thanks for making me a dadoo.”

Earlier this month, Tisdale shared a video of her daughter joining her at a Phineas and Ferb recording session. In the video, Jupiter is seen sitting in front of a microphone, wearing black headphones, as her mom guides her through some lines and a song.

“Brought Jupiter to my Phineas and Ferb recording,” Tisdale captioned the video. She added on her Instagram Stories, “Today was awesome. Even though Jupiter doesn’t watch Phineas and Ferb yet I think she had fun coming to work with mom and seeing how it’s done.”

Tisdale has also been supporting her friend Lea Michele, who is also expecting. Michele recently shared that Tisdale sent her a care package filled with “mama safe products” from her beauty and personal care brand, Frenshe.

“Thank you so much for this amazing care package of incredible mama safe products,” Michele wrote on her Instagram Stories. “I love everything and love you so much!”

Michele, who is already a mom to 3-year-old son Ever Leo, posted a selfie with Tisdale, both smiling for the camera with a caption that read, “I 💗 you.”

Both actresses announced their pregnancies on the same day in March. Under Tisdale’s Instagram post, Michele commented, “So happy for your beautiful family!!! 💓💓💓.” Tisdale responded similarly under Michele’s announcement, “So excited for this beautiful family ❤️❤️❤️.”

The two have a long history of supporting each other, having attended engagement parties, celebrated weddings, and shared sweet messages on social media.

Before announcing her pregnancy, Tisdale shared a humorous story with PEOPLE about her daughter, Jupiter, swearing for the first time. She explained that her nanny had unknowingly read the satirical book “Go the F–K to Sleep” to Jupiter, leading to an amusing moment when her daughter repeated the phrase.

“She goes, ‘No, mama, no. It’s go the f— to sleep.’ I was like, ‘What the heck?'” Tisdale recalled, adding that the parents were “dying laughing.”
