Superman Leaks Reveal BTS Look At Fight Scene For James Gunn’s DCU Movie

Excitement is building for James Gunn’s upcoming Superman movie, and recent leaks have only added to the anticipation. A new behind-the-scenes video from the Cleveland, Ohio set has surfaced, giving fans a sneak peek at a fight scene being rehearsed.

The video, shot at Headlands Beach State Park, showcases stunt performers practicing their choreography. About 15 seconds into the clip, an individual who bears a striking resemblance to David Corenswet, the actor cast as Superman, makes an appearance. Could this be the Man of Steel himself getting ready for action?

James Gunn’s Superman project is one of the most eagerly awaited films in the DC Universe. Clark Kent, also known as Superman, has been a beloved character for over 80 years, appearing in various forms of media. This new movie aims to delve into his origins and the challenges he faces in balancing his dual identities while battling villains and saving the world.

Gunn, who is both writing and directing the film, has assembled a star-studded cast. David Corenswet will don the iconic cape as Superman, with Rachel Brosnahan playing Lois Lane. The cast also includes Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Nathan Fillion as the Guy Gardner version of Green Lantern, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, among others.

In an era where leaks are almost inevitable, DC Studios co-heads James Gunn and Peter Safran are likely trying to control the narrative by releasing information on their own terms. This strategy helps maintain excitement and manage expectations among fans.

While the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con is off the table due to unfinished special effects, the studio is reportedly planning to unveil the first official trailer at the Brazilian Comic Con CCXP later this year. In the meantime, DC is sending Creature Commandos and The Penguin to the San Diego event next month.

Superman is currently slated for a theatrical release on July 11, 2025. Fans are eagerly counting down the days until they can see their favorite superhero back on the big screen.

Rick Lemoine, a lifelong fan of both Marvel and DC comics, brings his passion for superheroes to his writing, offering insights into Hollywood’s latest projects.
