Taylor Swift celebrates major milestone of her hit Eras Tour

Taylor Swift is reveling in a significant milestone as her acclaimed “Eras Tour” hits its 100th show. The pop sensation couldn’t contain her excitement and took to social media to share her joy with fans. During her latest performance in Liverpool, the “Carolina” singer expressed her gratitude and amazement on Instagram, marking the momentous occasion on June 13.

“So many dreamy memories from Liverpool!! We played our 100th show on The Eras Tour (which feels truly deranged to say because this show feels new to me every time we play it),” the 34-year-old artist wrote. She went on to thank her dedicated crew, fellow performers, and band members who have poured countless hours into making the tour a success. “I can’t believe the work ethic, creativity, and dedication I get to be surrounded with every day,” she added.

Swift also praised the Liverpool crowds, describing them as “expressive, generous, and endlessly FUN.” She noted that the audience broke the all-time stadium attendance record, making the weekend even more special. “Thank you to everyone who has come to any of the shows on The Eras Tour. It’s been the adventure of a lifetime because of you,” she concluded.

Nearly two decades into her career, Taylor Swift continues to achieve remarkable milestones. The international leg of her “Eras Tour” resumed on February 16 in Melbourne, Australia. The “Anti-Hero” singer performed three consecutive nights at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, drawing an impressive 96,000 fans each night. Swift celebrated this achievement at the beginning of her concert on February 18, addressing the crowd during her “Lover” era.

“96,000 people the first night, 96,000 people the second night, 96,000 people tonight,” Swift said in a video shared by a fan on social media. “Those are all the biggest shows I’ve ever played on a tour, and you did it three times.” She continued, “The math is that it’s 288,000 people in three nights. Melbourne, you are the love of my life.” Swift expressed her disbelief and gratitude, saying, “I cannot believe you, what have you done? It’s just incredibly nice to do for someone, make them feel welcome like that.”

During her first night in Melbourne, a fan captured the moment Swift appeared in awe of the massive crowd. “This is the biggest show that we have done on this tour or any tour I have ever done,” she said in the clip shared on social media. “So yeah, that’s the version you get of me tonight, the version that’s actually completely starstruck by the fact that so many of you wanted to hang out with us on a Friday night in Melbourne.”

After wrapping up her final show of 2023 on November 26 at Allianz Parque in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Swift hit the road again with four nights in Tokyo starting February 7. Reflecting on her Tokyo experience, Swift shared on Instagram, “Those 4 shows at Tokyo Dome were so wonderful. I’d missed you all so much and loved being on stage frolicking around with my fellow performers and band again.” She thanked everyone who attended, whether they lived nearby or traveled from afar.

Following her Tokyo performances, Swift made a quick trip to Las Vegas to support Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs as they clinched another Super Bowl victory. The “Eras Tour” is set to continue internationally through August, with a break scheduled for much of March and all of April. This break coincides with the release of her new album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” on April 19, which she announced while accepting her 13th Grammy Award.

Taylor Swift’s ability to connect with her fans and deliver unforgettable performances has solidified her status as a global superstar. As she continues to break records and reach new heights, her “Eras Tour” remains a testament to her enduring talent and dedication to her craft.
