Adele Yet to Relocate to $58M Beverly Hills Mansion

Adele, the globally renowned singer, has yet to move into her $58 million Beverly Hills mansion, which she purchased from Sylvester Stallone in 2022. Despite investing millions in renovations, the property remains unoccupied. The “Hello” singer, 36, initially planned to keep the house as it was but soon decided to make significant changes.

The mansion, located in the exclusive North Beverly Park area, spans over 18,500 square feet and sits on 3.5 acres. It originally featured eight bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a two-story foyer, and a two-story guest house. The property also boasts sweeping city and canyon views. However, Adele has since hired the celebrity construction firm Valle Reinis to make extensive modifications, including adding an extra floor.

A source revealed that Adele’s team of Hollywood experts suggested the additional floor, making the house even more grandiose. “The house will be absolutely gigantic by the time it’s done. But it is looking incredible, and she thinks it’s worthwhile,” the source said. Adele envisions this mansion as her forever home, where she plans to live with her son Angelo and partner Rich Paul. She also dreams of expanding her family in this luxurious abode.

One unique feature that Adele insisted on keeping is a statue of Stallone as “Rocky,” which overlooks the swimming pool. Stallone had initially planned to take the statue with him, but Adele made it a deal-breaker. “She said, ‘That’s a no deal. That’s gonna blow the whole deal.’ She wanted the statue,” Stallone told the Wall Street Journal.

The renovations have been extensive, including the addition of a five-car garage and a fire-resistant roof. The property is located in a high Fire Hazard Severity Zone, necessitating strict compliance with safety specifications. Images from August 2023 show that the house has been almost entirely rebuilt, yet the iconic “Rocky” statue remains a staple.

Adele’s investment in this property is substantial. She reportedly has a $37.7 million mortgage, with monthly payments estimated at $227,000, including high property taxes and a five percent interest rate. This is a significant sum, even for Adele, whose net worth is estimated at $183 million.

Before purchasing Stallone’s mansion, Adele already owned three homes in a star-studded neighborhood of Beverly Hills. She bought her first property in the area for $8.4 million in 2016, followed by a $10.65 million purchase in 2019, and another $10 million home in 2021. These properties are situated within another gated community in Hidden Valley.

Adele’s real estate ventures mark a significant departure from her humble beginnings. Raised by her single mother in a series of south London flats, including one above a discount shop, Adele has come a long way. Her move to Los Angeles was partly driven by the high cost of real estate in London.

In May 2022, Adele confirmed that she had moved in with her boyfriend, Rich Paul, after a year of dating. The Grammy-award-winning singer, who shares her son Angelo with ex-husband Simon Konecki, has expressed her desire to have more children. During her Vegas residency, she told fans that she hopes to have a daughter with Rich Paul. “Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby,” she said.

Adele’s new mansion, once owned by Sylvester Stallone, is a testament to her success and aspirations. While the property remains under renovation, it is clear that Adele is creating a home that reflects her dreams and future plans.
